A little bit about Tom

I was raised in a Northern California resort town as well as a ranching and agricultural environment. My family ancestry ranges from raising and training horses to owning prize-winning vineyards.

Prior to getting involved in Real Estate, I owned and operated my own business for over 20 years. I worked as a instructor at a community college for 8 years. I also owned and operated an attorney support service for over five years before moving to Pagosa.

Pagosa Springs has a rare quality of life and beauty that I feel is comparable to where I came from. I was on a road trip in the 1980s with my father when I first “experienced” Pagosa Springs. Old Town Pagosa Springs really reminded me of the town I lived in. After having lived in the same town in California for over 40 years, I moved to Pagosa Springs in 1999.

Being a single parent, I knew Pagosa was where I wanted to raise my children. My son, who still lives here, loves extreme snowboarding and is my fly fishing partner.

I got involved in Real Estate in 1995, working with insurance companies and the court systems in California. I have always liked working in Real Estate, especially helping people find that perfect property.

Since being a licensed real estate broker, I have represented many wonderful people---buyers and sellers---from all walks of life in purchasing vacant land, ranches, residences, and commercial businesses. It has been very gratifying for me assisting people in locating and finding the property that made their dreams come true.

Having been a college instructor I know that education is very important in any business. Being a Licensed Colorado and New Mexico Real Estate Broker, I continuously upgrade my knowledege in the industry, studying to further my education in all aspects of real estate, to better serve those I work with.
